Book Source Magazine is located in Cazenovia (NY) at:

Book Source Magazine
2007 Syossett Drive
Cazenovia, NY 13035

We started out in the antiquarian and rare book trade, but after launching this magazine in 1985 bookselling was set aside, put on the back burner, or (supply your own metaphor).

After 22 years of meeting deadlines, our print version was jettisoned in June of 2013 because, as it turned out, there weren't enough paying subscribers to cover the high costs of printing and mailing.  In retrospect, it was a wonderful decision because it allows us to concentrate on and develop this website.  It also gives us more time for bookselling, writing, gardening or hanging out by the lake. Visits by appointment are encouraged.

We publish at least two e-Newsletters per month and anyone wanting a free subscription is invited to contact us at bsm@windstream.net (which is where ‘free subscription’ links to) with a simple request. Since we don't practice data-mining, there's no need to give us any information other than your preferred e-mail address and, optionally, your name. This supposedly violates the online publishing paradigm, but there it is.

Also, letters on book-related or broader topics will be considered for publication, depending on the mood of the editor at the time.

You may phone us at 315-655-9654, or send email to bsm@windstream.net.  For comments or problems pertaining to this web site, please contact our webmaster directly.
