Subscribe (free), Advertise (not free), General Info:

Subscribebsm@windstream.net or (315) 655-9654 for a free subscription to our e-Newsletters.

Ad rates - start at $25.00 per month, depending on position.  Size of standard graphic should be approximately 150 x 300 pixels or 1/2 aspect ratio.  Banner ads are linked to advertiser's website and advertised event calendar listings are also linked to advertiser's website.   Advertisers may also supply several graphics to be rotated randomly each time a page is refreshed.

Tier 1 (top tier) position: $50.00 per month
Tier 2 (below top tier) position: $25.00 per month

(Note: tiers are separated by a thin white line and ads rotate randomly within tiers whenever a page is refreshed)

For time-sensitive advertising months are measured backwards from the date of the event.  (i.e. an auction or book fair taking place on the 12th of the October, for example, may post an ad from the 12th of any preceding month).  For non time-sensitive advertising (bookseller, publisher, special service, etc.), normal monthly billing applies.

Please call (315) 655-9654 or e-mail for more information.

General Information & Background - We started out in the antiquarian and rare book trade, but after launching BSM in 1985 bookselling was put on the back burner.

After 28 years of meeting publishing deadlines, our print version was shut down in June of 2013 because there weren't enough subscribers to cover the high costs of printing and mailing.  In retrospect, it was a sound decision because it allowed us to concentrate on developing this website and expand our readership.

We publish one or two e-Newsletters per month and anyone wanting a free e-subscription is invited to contact us at bsm@windstream.net with a simple request. You may also phone us at (315) 655-9654.
